Generate More Test Cases With AutoTester

Once your basic test cases are ready, you can easily go deeper by covering edge cases, alternate flows, and error scenarios using the Generate More Test Cases option.

👇Watch how to generate more test cases with AutoTester

Two Ways to Generate More Cases

  • AI-assisted:
Just describe what you want to test in plain English and let AI generate test cases for you.

  • Manual:
Create test cases by selecting the scenario type and expected outcome.

This gives you more test coverage without writing code or repeating manual steps—even as your app evolves.

note

For best results, keep your input clear and specific.
Examples:

  • âś… “Check login fails when username is empty”
  • âś… “Test login with special characters in the password field”

⚠️ Troubleshooting More Test Case Generation

  • AI isn’t suggesting test cases?
Make sure your app flow is recorded properly and your description clearly matches that flow. Avoid vague inputs like "check login." Instead, be specific: "Verify login fails when username is empty." The description must be related to what you recorded, as AutoTester uses that to generate accurate scenarios.

  • Test case feels too generic or inaccurate? Refine the AI prompt or create a new test case manually. You can always edit or delete inaccurate ones later.
