Review Your Generated Test Cases
Once AutoTester has created your test cases, take a moment to review them before generating detailed test steps.
AutoTester doesn’t just follow clicks—it checks whether your app behaves as expected. Reviewing helps ensure the test flow, validations, and outcomes all match your intended user flow before moving forward.

What You Can Do
- Edit test case titles – Make them descriptive so you know what each test covers at a glance.
- Update test descriptions – Add clarity on what the test is supposed to do.
- Refine success/error validations – Define what should happen at the end of the flow (e.g., “Login success” or “Error message on blank input”).
- Insert assertion logic – Tell AutoTester what to look for (messages, UI states, etc.) to verify pass or fail.
The clearer your descriptions and validations, the more accurate is your test coverage. So take a minute to review your test cases. This will save time later by making your tests easier to understand, maintain, and expand.
⚠️ Troubleshooting Test Case Review
-
Titles or descriptions not saving?
Click the “Save” button after editing. Unsaved changes won’t be applied. -
Not sure what validation to add?
Use real, visible messages (e.g., “Welcome back!”, “Invalid password”). Avoid vague terms like “Success” unless they match the actual app message. -
Can’t edit a test case?
Check if it’s already in the step-generation stage. You can still go back and edit before generating steps. -
Test case seems incomplete?
Make sure your recording captured the full user action from start to outcome.
